A staple in the classical guitar repetoire, this Tarrega classic has been performed by masters such as Segovia and Barrios and countless others. I have heard this piece played faster, and I've heard it played slower - this is a tempo somewhere in between. Having said that, this entire piece should be played somewhat rubato...in other words, milk it for all it's worth! Check out a recording!
