Tempo here was about the hardest thing to get. They are all over the place. 10 bpm jump here and a 20 bpm jump there. All together though it should play to the recording which I always like to do. Just to make sure nothing sounds out of place. I start the mp3 then start the powertab on the 2nd measure.
The reasoning behind Dimbag using a dropped tuning on most his songs is the solo's of course. If he were to tune all strings down. That takes away alot of the higher solo notes that he squeaks out. Although there are songs were he uses a standard D tuning. I doubt he does on this one. I could be wrong and he's just using the whammy pedal to get the higher notes on the out solo.
Very hard to pick out the rhythm under the solo perfectly. Its close enough IMO. Really if you wanted you could just fast pick the root chord and it would sound good live. Any suggestions. Send them along.
Fairly straightforward along with the guitar riff. He's most likely using a pick on this. Although I like the finger bass sound better so I used it for the midi.
