Notice
First off... an octaver, while not necessary, would enhance your performance immensely. Everything except the solos sounds like its doubled an octave higher than written, so if you want to achieve peak creepiness on this track, an octaver is the way to go.
Also, you may note background noise on the 2nd and 3rd verses. Tom Morello is doubtlessly tinkering around with something while playing. However, since Tom Morello is very unorthodox, having used allen wrenches and pencils in the past to get noises, I can't venture a guess as to exactly what he's doing. You'll be fine without.
The song is in drop-D tuning, even though there's only one note that requires such an adjustment.
Yeah, the 5 string bass is a bit unnecessary, but there is the one isolated instance where I feel it's needed. There's no reason you should feel daunted by this, however... its easy to substitute the few lower notes for the next octave up, since there are only a small handful of notes making it below standard tuning by my account.
Also, most chord names reflect what's happening in the bass score as well as guitar (Dm/G, etc)
