Notice
-this is another song that features Elliott's quite idiosyncratic right hand style. The song is played completely without the use of a pick; the riff heard in the intro section should be played with the thumb (p) and index finger (i). As marked by the ghost notes, the down-beats should be much more emphasized than the off-beats. When it reaches the bar with the C and D chords, Elliott strums with a combination of both the thumb and index finger; similarly on the G - G7 measures in the verse. Mastering these parts is much more about feel than precision.
-When the chorus hits, the guitar drops out and is replaced by two tracks of piano. The louder one is included in the guitar score, and the secondary part (which sounds like a saloon piano) is in the bass score. The guitar comes back in at the outro (G).
-During the outro, the muted A string is strummed; i ommitted it from the score for MIDI purposes.
-because of the dense nature of the mix, some of the piano parts may be just close approximations. they all should be fairly playable on guitar.
-The secondary piano part is included in this score.
