The second stave is just to add the atmosphere and show the underlying tonality, it cant really be played on guitar. I did have the idea it might be played as feedback, i suppose you could try it.
I did try to use high and low melodies for the third part of the tune but it turned out quite difficult and very messy looking so i abandoned that idea.
The song is probably supposed to be finger picked but you could just omit the bass notes or pick the bass notes with a finger whilst doing most of the picking with a plectrum. Its up to you.
