The acoustic chords can be fully strummed , all strings. As long as you have the rhythm of the strumming patterns it works just fine to hit any or all notes of the chords. Don't concentrate necessarily on getting exactly what the tab has but the general feel of the strumming pattern and concentrate on holding the chords in form.
The other instruments are kind of hard to pick out because different ones are coming in and out of the song. So in some places a guitar might shift in the middle of the staff although you would be able to play this without switching if you're playing alone.
