This piece of music grabbed me the first time I heard it and has never let go since. Needless to say, one of my all time favorites. The midi isn't even close to reprocucing the exotic beauty of this piece. This tab is based on the John Williams recording and the basic tempos are very close to the record if not right on.
I believe in Yocoh's original arrangement there may have been another variation that Williams omitted but I'm not sure. The score I have is xeroxed from my teacher so I'm not 100% sure of it's original source.
The "Tap" harmonics at rehearsal sign D are actually what I call "touch" harmonics made by plucking with your right hand ring finger or thumb at the same time using your right hand index finger to "touch" the harmonic. Ciao
