This song is the title track to George Straits' 1996 album which debuted at number 1 on Billboard and also took home "Album of the Year" at the CMA's. This was also King George's 32nd number 1 hit out of his current 50. This song is still one of my most favorites although there are so many others which I bestow the same title. Enjoy

The guitar fills where derived from some piano notes I plucked from "The Best Of " collection. I pulled some fiddle and steel guitar fills from an midi and cleaned them up alittle. Most of this sounds fairly accurate. The solo peice is actually all steel guitar but I managed to tab out a fairly accurate sounding version for a standard guitar. As with many big country bands there are several guitars playing over eachother. With George there are at least 2 electric, 3 acoustic, 1 bass, and a steel guitarist. Not to mention twin fiddles. So I did what I could to provide a decent and fairly accurate version for power tab. I'm not claiming to be the best at tabbing these great peices of music but somebody NEEDS to. So I'm paving the way for more of you all to bring more great Country Songs to power tab. Lord knows the publishing companys don't bother unless you're Garth Brooks (Not to say Garth isn't great in his own right, but you get the picture). Lets just see more great contemporaries like George Strait, and Alan Jackson. Hey some Toby Keith wouldn't be bad either! Taken from the piano score.
