First of I'd like to thank my friend for helping me out with the intro section and flute/sitar duet part (soon to come on next update!). I don't have very good pitch yet (working on it), and I think she did an excellent job with the notes. Thanks!
The rest of the song was tabbed excellently by Father Death and John Mansley. I have used their ASCII tabs to create this PowerTab.
I literally had no trouble with any parts of this song at all, everything went straightforward and smoothly; all the parts matched up timing wise with the actual song.
For the intro...it's probably not played on a Sitar. I was researching some other Middle Eastern instruments but I'm not sure which one it is. It's played very expressively, with much emotion and careful attention to dynamics. I marked them in general, but for this section just feel where you think the volume should be altered. The performer also throws in some random ritardandos (which I didn't notate really, they are very brief).
The following riffs are pretty straightforward. The flute interlude section was pretty fun to mess with, I really just copied the guitar parts for that, they are identical.
The solos in between these areas I'm sure are at least 85% accurate, but they are really fast so I don't know for sure.
All the rest of the riffs were pretty easy, just really fast so the timing become a challenge. Tell me if you see anything wrong. The quarter note triplet section before the sitar/flute duet sound really odd with the slides, but that's the midi's fault! It sounds fine on my guitar.
The sitar interlude section will soon have flute, just keep checking for the update!!
That's about it. Enjoy this awesome song and go learn it!
