Back then Dime was known as Diamond Darrell. These guys were on the verge of, in not being a Hairband. I'm glad they went the other way from Poison. (lol) Its amazing the change from this album to CFH. Its like a light went on and they said "This is how its gonna be done. Let's break some necks with some power shit"
Basically the rhythms are pretty easy through this song just kind of hard to pick out. The solo is where you see Dime's potential for GuitarGod status. Just an awesome solo, even though I think the rest of the song is like, Well ok whatever lol. It isn't that bad though. Kind of reminds me of early Judas Priest with the high screaming lyrics that a long haired Phil pumps out, but the chorus is like twiddle your thumbs what happened there in my opinion. Anyways enough yapping. Enjoy some earlier era Pantera.
Straightforward to say the least for old Rex, atleast I think that's Rex on the cover. If it is man talk about having a makeover lol.
Gotta couple bass hook riffs in there but they are hard to pick out exactly. Some places I just put what fit good. Not to say its not a nice clicky bass tone its just kinda muddied all together in the mix. On the part with the synth bass effect, if you don't have that effect just build up that note its riding on. Start softly using 8th notes while building up the attack and volume as the measures progress.
Also I don't know if he's using his 5 string yet or not. But I can't hear any real low notes that would fall below the notes the guitar uses so I just used the 4 string.
